is a 1985 graduate of the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and opened Broken Top Veterinary Clinic in 2000. After a lifetime of wanting to be a veterinarian and then another chapter of wanting to be a good veterinarian, she is finally looking at the close of a lifelong career (retirement?). No, don’t worry, it is still years away, but she finally enjoys things other than her career.

Her loves in life include her husband Craig, Kanga (a cattle dog), Kiva (a Malinois), and her two horses, Widget and Shami. Little is actively involved in obedience and agility work which is very entertaining… training consumes her life (ask Craig!). She barely has time for fishing sturgeon and salmon, and any time leftover includes riding in the wilderness.

Little still dreams of being a wildlife veterinarian… but, that dream will probably remain just that!

Dr. Dana Bailey

Dr. Dana Bailey

Dr. Dana Bailey and Beetle!

is a 2004 graduate of the Oregon State University/Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was raised in an Air Force family spending most of her childhood overseas, attended college in Texas, and was a field biologist for many years (working with small mammals, salamanders, and bats!). She is published for her work on the Oregon Giant Earthworm.

She made Central Oregon her home in 2007, and was a relief veterinarian traveling all over Oregon before becoming an associate at Broken Top Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Bailey rescues old dogs and currently has an 8-10 year old shelter rescue, Beetle! In her down time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, trail running, and rock climbing!

Dr. Cassandra Lodge

Cassandra "Cassy" Lodge

Dr. Cassandra “Cassy” Lodge and Charlie!

has been with Broken Top Veterinary Clinic since 2013. She went to veterinary school in the Grand Cayman islands but spent her last year at the University of Illinois. After graduation, Cassy moved to Sisters and recently passed her veterinary boards, becoming a licensed veterinarian. She grew up in a small town in Colorado, so Sisters feels like home! She enjoys hiking in the mountains with her dog, Charlie Brown, as well as horseback riding, photography, archery, skiing, snowshoeing and scuba diving. She also has 6 fast-growing and crazy chicks!
